I am happy that you have added barcode scanning capabilities to your Mobile App.

However, there are some limitations.

As I am using an android tablet, it is not convenient or practical for me to scan using the device camera. There are cheap barcode scanners ($100+) that are Bluetooth connectable with mobile devices (Android and iOS), these scanner function like a keyboard, entering the barcode number in the device upon scanning.

It is possible to have a section for manual barcode entering, so we can (1) use a standard barcode scanner to scan the barcode numbers (2) incase needed we can enter the barcode number manually.

I know that SocketMobile is available for iOS but the reader itself is high cost.
